YouTube has completely turned off monetization for Russian bloggers
YouTube video hosting has completely turned off monetization for content authors in Russia. This is stated in the official announcement of the hosting, according to Ukrainian News.
Yes, YouTube video hosting has completely suspended all monetization features for Russian users, including Premium subscriptions, Music Premium, sponsorship, super chats, super stickers and “merch”.
“This means that YouTube authors will temporarily stop earning revenue from these features in Russia. These changes do not apply to viewers outside of Russia ,” the video hosting company said in a statement.
As Ukrainian News reported, YouTube video hosting has decided to block blogger Anatoliy Shari’s channel in Ukraine .
